Who we are
Texas After Dark is a restaurant brand launching in the UK. For anything about this policy or your data, contact us at info@texasafterdark.co.uk.
What we collect
When you sign up to hear about our launch, we collect:
- your email address
- the date and time you signed up and confirmed
- a record that you gave consent
- your IP address at signup and confirmation, used to prevent abuse of the signup form
We do not ask for your name, address or phone number.
Why we collect it
Only to email you news about our launch and opening. We will not send you anything else unless you agree to it separately.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or by emailing us.
Where it is stored
Your email address is stored securely on our website, hosted by Hostinger, and sent using our website’s own email system. We do not currently use a separate third-party email marketing service. We never sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or 12 months after our launch — whichever comes first. After that we delete it.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not set any cookies for visitors to this page. If we later send you marketing emails, those emails may include standard open and click tracking so we can improve what we send — this is separate from the website itself and never shares data with third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@texasafterdark.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
